AppStorm News

At AppStorm we love helping you get the most out of your devices, mostly by giving you the low-down on the latest and greatest apps! Occasionally, however, it’s good to highlight the very best apps available; whether they be old classics, or new gems.

Recently each site has published a massive, and eminently thoughtful, roundup of the very best apps available, and I’ve collected them all together! Our editors and teams went to herculean lengths to ensure that these roundups would be more than worth your time, so without further ado…

Enjoy!

We’ve collected the top four reviews, roundups and how-to articles from across the AppStorm network in February. Whether you’re interested in Mac, iPhone, Web, Android, Windows, or iPad apps, there’s bound to be something you didn’t spot over the course of the month. Now would be a good time to explore a part of the AppStorm Network you’ve never seen before!

Thanks for reading AppStorm, and I hope you enjoy looking over some of our favourite posts from last month!

PDF Expert, an old favourite of ours from the team over at Readdle, has just had a major update – and we’ve got 3 promo codes to give away to mark the occasion!

So what’s new in PDF Expert 4.0 for iPad?

  • Retina support – probably one of the most wanted features for people who use the new iPad. It comes handy while reading text and making annotations on PDFs.
  • Embedded Audio and Video – now you can watch the videos which are embedded in PDFs! This is a great feature for all those sales people using their iPads for demonstration purposes, and for viewing educational materials in schools and universities.
  • PDF Attachments and PDF Portfolio support – making use of everything PDFs can do is the name of the game, and the latest update is set on doing just that.

This week is the final week you can submit entires to FX Photo Studio’s iPhoneography Exhibition – and there are 15 places reserved in New York for AppStorm readers!

You can process photos using any iPhone app so long as you also use FX Photo Studio.

International iPhoneography Show is a project by MacPhun – the team, who brought you FX Photo Studio for iPhone and MobiTog – the iPhoneography community with hundreds of members around the World.

The idea is to give everyone a chance to show his/her photography talent at international exhibitions in different parts of the globe. And it doesn’t matter where you live, whether you consider yourself a pro or just an amateur. What matters is your photography. The first exhibition will take place in New York, December 16-22, just before Christmas.

It’s an awesome chance to show off your best iPhone shots in an actual exhibition!

Head over here to check it out and enter!

Be sure to mention that you came from AppStorm, so they can select winners from the AppStorm entries!
