The iPad is a pretty great device, as we all know. Now, we’ve got two basic sizes to choose from: the iPad mini, and the iPad, umm, regular? Well whatever you call it, there are still two basic devices out there you can get.
Whether you’re in the market for a new iPad today, or you’re going to wait until another one comes out, here’s the question: will you buy an iPad mini or a regular sized model? Is the size your main preference or is it the available horsepower? Let us know in the poll to the right!
The iPad mini has been out for a week now, and if you were one of the lucky few who got one on launch day or shortly thereafter, it’s been in your hands for about a week, give or take.
In my case, I’m finding the iPad mini more useful than my regular iPad in many different situations. It’s not perfect, and it could be improved, but I find myself using it more and more every day.
What about you? Do you like it? Does it suck? Are you going to utilize Apple’s 14-day return policy? Let us know in the poll to the right!
The iPad mini is officially for sale and in stores (assuming they have stock, anyway). So did you buy one? Do you want one? Sure, that’s all great, but what do you think about it?
See, lots of people are saying some negative things about the iPad mini, particularly in regards to the lack of a Retina display. But is that a deal breaker for you? Are there other reasons that you don’t want or like the iPad mini? Let us know in the poll to the right!
Did you get any sleep on Thursday night? If you were preordering the new iPad mini, chances are you didn’t. That’s because preorders went live at midnight Pacific time in the U.S., which kept a lot of east coasters up pretty late into the night (or early in the morning, depending on your perspective).
So did you preorder one? Were you able to get the order placed at all? Are you going to wait in line instead? Let us know in the poll to the right!
It’s been rumored for a long time now, but we finally found out about the big announcement the other day: Apple has something “more” to show us. What could it be?
If you believe the rumor mill, we’re going to see a 7.85-inch iPad, new 13-inch MacBook Pros with Retina displays, iPads with Lightning connectors, upgraded Mac minis, redesigned iMacs and maybe — just maybe — a flying unicorn that cries rainbow tears.
What’s your guess? Let us know in the poll to the right!
When I bought my first iPad, I wasn’t really sure what I was going to do with it. Over time, I learned that it was great for pretty much everything — games, writing, watching movies — but for the most part, I read and play games on my iPad.
My wife, on the other hand, she’s all about productivity on her iPad. She’s always getting things done and working on some new to-do list — she even uses it for her grocery lists.
What about you? What do you use your iPad for the most? Let us know in the poll to the right!
Lots of talk recently about that rumored iPad mini. As of Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that there are already companies working on the rumored 7.85-inch device, and that it’s coming in October.
I’ve also read rumors (although I can’t find them now, of course), that Apple will send out invitations on October 10, then follow that up with an event on Oct 17. Sometimes when these things are so incredibly specific, they seem plausible.
So what about you? Do you think the iPad mini will be out this month? Let us know in the poll to the right!
Well, it’s been a pretty big week here at iPad.AppStorm and iPhone.AppStorm. We started with a bang, giving away two Waterfield cases, then we moved on to some of the best roundups, games and apps out there. It was a lot of fun, and we hope it helped you choose what games should be in your collection.
Do you like theme weeks like this? Should we do it again? Let us know in the poll to the right!
With the iPhone 5 fresh out of the gate, now the question turns to the iPad mini. First off, does it exist? If it does, then will it follow the 16:9 form factor of the iPhone 5, or the same as the original iPad? Enquiring minds want to know, so tell us in the poll to the right!
In case you hadn’t heard yet, there’s a new iPhone, and it’s called the iPhone 5. There are a ton of new parts used in the design that could make their way onto the next iPad — whether it’s an iPad mini or a traditional model.
So what do you think? What iPhone 5 parts will make it into the next iPad? Let us know in the poll to the right.
