This year’s WWDC is probably the one of the most anticipated Apple events of all time, with the promise of new and (hopefully) completely revamped versions of both iOS and OS X. Mac.AppStorm and iPad.AppStorm are here to help you keep track of it, with 3 liveblogs for you to watch and participate in! Unfortunately, we won’t be covering it from San Francisco, but we will be providing quality news coverage and analysis both during the presentation and afterwards.
There are three ways you can follow the event:
- Our ScribbleLive blog, manned by Mark Myerson, which will automatically update, and you can provide your own thoughts and comments in the live stream.
- Our Twitter accounts, @macappstorm and @ipadappstorm (both manned by James Cull). All our tweets will be marked with the hashtag #appstormwwdc — please feel free to use this for thoughts and comments so we can see them.
- Our App.net accounts, @macappstorm and @ipadappstorm (both manned by Jordan Merrick). Again, please use the hashtag #appstormwwdc for any thoughts and comments.
We’ll start at 5:30 PM (GMT) so see you there!
I don’t think I’m alone in saying that Facebook’s announcement yesterday at their headquarters in Menlo Park, California, didn’t get me stoked up one bit. I didn’t even realise it had started until I checked my Twitter during a break from revision in my university’s library and discovered that the event had temporarily hijacked my feed. So, to procrastinate a bit, I started watching the live feed and reading a bit more about it on various technology blogs. The results, unfortunately, didn’t impress.
We’re immensely pleased to announce that, after months of waiting, a new member of the AppStorm network has landed: Windows.AppStorm!

Over the last twelve months the iPad has literally taken the technology world by storm. Apple has carved out a brand new niche in the industry, establishing the iPad as the best tablet computer available on the market. And the momentum behind this gadget shows no sign of slowing down…
Since the launch of the iPad, we’ve received countless requests from readers for a new site that’s completely dedicated to the device. I’m incredibly excited to let you know that today marks the launch of a new member in the ever-growing AppStorm family – iPad.AppStorm!

It’s worth mentioning that if you’re interested in writing for the new site, you should shoot Joel an email at ipad@a[email protected]. I’m sure he’d love to hear from you.
