This year’s WWDC is probably the one of the most anticipated Apple events of all time, with the promise of new and (hopefully) completely revamped versions of both iOS and OS X. Mac.AppStorm and iPad.AppStorm are here to help you keep track of it, with 3 liveblogs for you to watch and participate in! Unfortunately, we won’t be covering it from San Francisco, but we will be providing quality news coverage and analysis both during the presentation and afterwards.

There are three ways you can follow the event:

  1. Our ScribbleLive blog, manned by Mark Myerson, which will automatically update, and you can provide your own thoughts and comments in the live stream.
  2. Our Twitter accounts, @macappstorm and @ipadappstorm (both manned by James Cull). All our tweets will be marked with the hashtag #appstormwwdc — please feel free to use this for thoughts and comments so we can see them.
  3. Our App.net accounts, @macappstorm and @ipadappstorm (both manned by Jordan Merrick). Again, please use the hashtag #appstormwwdc for any thoughts and comments.

We’ll start at 5:30 PM (GMT) so see you there!

It feels like an age ago, but back in December we ran an in-depth survey about AppStorm itself – how very meta of us…

As it was impossible for you to see the results as they happened, I thought I’d enlighten you and talk a little about the focus of AppStorm going into the future (it is the New Year after all). Get set for some charts, percentages, and perhaps a little light japery!

Here at AppStorm we have a varied array of article types, this is in the hope that we can give you something interesting and diverse to read every week! Everyone has a slightly different taste, some prefer longer, more in-depth reviews, while others prefer snappy opinion pieces that get you thinking.

I’d love to know what type of post is your absolute favourite to read? iPad.AppStorm has been live for around three months and we have already gathered an awesome readership, here is your chance to help shape the growth of the site.

Before I finish it’s worth noting that I have purposefully left off two key posts; Polls and Competitions. This is mainly because I want to focus on the meat of the site, the true substance. Polls are great, a beautiful way to interact, but don’t really take much effort to read – and regarding competitions, who doesn’t like to win things?

Get involved here and tell me what your favourite article to read is and, if you’d like to, why?

Any comments or ideas are totally welcome, we’re all friends here – if you’d really like to see more of something, simply leave a note. Personally, I’m fascinated to see the outcome of this one!
