tasksLet’s face it, you could waste a lot of time looking for the best task manager out there. They all promise that with a quick download or by signing up you’ll become much more productive. However, with so many on the market now it can take hours to sort through them all.
While this review isn’t going to give you a comparison of them all, I do want to highlight the latest task manager I’ve tested out. If you’re looking for a powerful, personal task manager that’s cross platform then Doit.im might be just the thing for you. Read on to see all that it offers.
I am surprised at how much I like BlueTags’ Planner Pro. The first time I opened it, I expected to despise it. It looked too messy. It didn’t look clean enough. I love Calendar’s simplicity, and this did not look like it would suit what I needed at all.
But the more I used it, the more I saw it becoming an affordable and easy way for people who need an all-in-one app to manage their day-to-day lives. It combines the event planning of Calendar with the task management of sophisticated apps such as Things for iPad. It doesn’t replace apps like iStudiez Pro for students, but for people who run their own businesses, Planner Pro will be a godsend. (more…)
A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away) when iPad AppStorm wasn’t even its own site, we looked at one of the most popular productivity apps for iPad, Things, and we gave it a highly praised 8 out of 10. We liked its stylish interface yet didn’t particularly like its expensive price tag back then, which seemed a little excessive for just a simple productivity app.
Well, a lot has changed with Things since then, so let’s revisit the app to see whether it can still live up to that 8 out of 10 score. (more…)
I’m reluctant to total up how much I’ve spent on to do apps from the App Store. But I don’t use any of them on a regular basis. So when I came across Task Pro I wasn’t sure whether to take a look or not.
There is one one particular feature available in Task Pro that made the decision for me. It’s a feature that sets it apart from the majority of other to do apps. Read on, and I’ll explain what it is.
The developers over at Pagico gave us an early look at their long awaited update for their task planning app, Pagico Plus. With a desktop client already available for Mac, Windows, and Ubuntu, they ventured into mobile apps with the introduction of Pagico Plus last year.
While Pagico Plus syncs with and can be used in conjunction with the desktop version, it can also function as a standalone app. As you know, there are already plenty of task management apps out there, so let’s see how Pagico Plus stacks up!
For a long time, Calvetica has been the most praised calendar app available for the iPhone. Fast, yet feature rich, beautiful, yet minimalist. It’s no wonder Calvetica was recommended by so many. Its only downfall? Followers of Mysterious Trousers’ amazing calendar app were left longing for a native iPad version to grace their 9.7 inch display.
Well, the wait is over. Mysterious Trousers have released version 4.0 of Calvetica and not only does this new version make the app universal, it boasts a complete overhaul of the entire design, doing the impossible and making Calvetica even more beautiful! Calvetica is finally the only calendar app that you need!
I can’t help but be intrigued whenever I come across a new productivity app. Ironically, it’s probably a serious blight to my actual productivity.
So when I came across Firetask, a task management app that purports to effectively combine the advantages of the classical approach with David Allen’s “Getting Things Done®”, I was eager to find out exactly what it was like. Read on to find out whether Firetask could be the perfect task solution for you…
Throughout the ages humans have always had to keep track of things, from counting on an abacus, to remembering the milk with a post-it. The iPhone, and now the iPad, have provided us with a vast array of possible solutions for helping us to remember and stay organised.
Interestingly, one of the announcements regarding iOS 5 at the WWDC keynote was about the introduction of an integrated Reminders feature. I have to say that for general use it looks great, it even works with iCloud so that all of your devices are kept accurately updated!
As with several other native applications, Apple hasn’t come straight out and targeted the heavy power user. Instead, Apple has built what looks to be a solid and indispensable app suitable for everyone, but that leaves space for more powerful and feature-rich applications that cater for all possible needs.
Let’s take a look at some of the apps that are unlikely to feel too worried, some great solutions for keeping yourself organised!
