With the iPhone 5 fresh out of the gate, now the question turns to the iPad mini. First off, does it exist? If it does, then will it follow the 16:9 form factor of the iPhone 5, or the same as the original iPad? Enquiring minds want to know, so tell us in the poll to the right!

In case you hadn’t heard yet, there’s a new iPhone, and it’s called the iPhone 5. There are a ton of new parts used in the design that could make their way onto the next iPad — whether it’s an iPad mini or a traditional model.

So what do you think? What iPhone 5 parts will make it into the next iPad? Let us know in the poll to the right.

The 12th is a big day in the Apple world. We all assume that the next iPhone will be announced (the invite is pretty clear on that one), but what about this iPad mini/Air that’s been going around for so long? Will Wednesday be the day we see it for the first time, or will its announcement be postponed (or never happen)? Tell us your thoughts in the poll to the right.

Last week, we asked you about the possibility of a smaller iPad to fit into the iOS lineup. It makes a lot of sense on some fronts, not so much on others. But with the success of the Nexus 7, lots of people are saying that Apple should make a smaller iPad, and recent testimony at the Apple/Samsung trial seems to show that they’ve considered the possibility.

But this is your call. Let’s say that the iPad mini (or a smaller iPad with some kind of name) is announced in the next few months — heck, even the next year. Would you buy one? Let us know in the poll to the right.

There’s been a ton of talk about the new iPad, specifically the possibility of a 7.85-inch iPad mini. Does it exist? Has it been built already? Will we see it at the rumored launch event on Sept 12?

Well that’s an awful lot of questions, and we might have an answer in the next few weeks. But for now, let’s speculate. Do you think we’ll ever see an iPad mini? Will it come this year or next? Let us know in the poll to the right.

Just a few days ago, Twitter announced a new version of their API, and it’s a doozy. Although there has been plenty of lead time on these concepts, at the end of the day there is great concern in the blogosphere that the new rules will eventually mean the death of third-party apps like Tweetbot and Twitteriffic.

What do you think? Is this all much ado about nothing, or will we lose Twitter as we know it today? Let us know in the poll to the right.

When I first bought my iPad, one of the first apps I installed was Air Display. I figured that using it in tandem with my MacBook Air would give me a great way to gain extra screen real estate, particularly when I’m on the go. After talking to a few of my buddies about the subject, it turns out that they too were using their iPads for the same reason.

So what about you? Do you use your iPad as a second display for your Mac? Let us know in the poll to the right.

We’re doing some research here around these parts, and when comparing the numbers between the iPhone and iPad sites, we get a lot more visitors on the iPhone side of things. It made me wonder how many of our iPhone.AppStorm readers own an iPad, and how many iPad.AppStorm readers own an iPhone.

Here’s my guess: most of our iPad.AppStorm readers own an iPhone (over 50%), but less than 25% of our iPhone.AppStorm readers own an iPad.

So am I right or am I way off base? Let me know in the poll to the right.

Last week, I asked you what kind of case you used on your iPad, but after the fact I started thinking about cases as a whole. With my original iPad, I never used a case — I still don’t, unless I’m packing it for a trip. With the new iPad, I find my Smart Cover to be part of the reason that it’s so functional. But what about you? Do you use a case on your iPad or do you keep it au naturale? Let us know in the poll to the right!

When I bought my new iPad, I knew that I wanted a Smart Cover, no question about it. But then I got to the Apple Store and saw the Smart Case for the first time and wondered if it would work better for my needs. My wife prefers a sleeve case for her iPad, while other family members like traditional cases. So what flavor of case do you prefer? Let us know in the poll to the right!
